Wow! What a crazy spring it has been! My heart goes out to all of my seniors as I know this was not the way you expected to spend the end of your senior year! But you will come out of this stronger!

In the state of South Carolina, things are slowly but surely opening back up and things are changing every day in regards to Covid. I have been staying informed, following the news and making sure that LKP is practicing the guidelines set forth by our state and local government. While this has been a challenging time with not being able to work for a while and rescheduling sessions, the safety of my clients is of utmost importance.

According to the Governor, photographers are allowed to get back to work and for that I am very grateful! I can not wait to capture your senior photos and help you celebrate your accomplishments! But keeping all of my clients safe is still top priority so I will be implementing the following Covid policies for shoots:

Social Distancing – It is recommended that we stay six feet or more apart and do not gather in groups of more than three, as well as avoid crowded areas. In order to abide by the social distancing guidelines, I will be using a longer lens which will allow me to stay six feet away from clients as well as implementing a one-person only rule for anyone accompanying clients to shoots. Typically I meet each client at hair and makeup and sit with them during their appointment. However, due to the one-person rule and to prevent too many people being in the studio at one time, I will arrive at the hair and makeup studio toward the end of your appointment and we will go to the shoot location from there. If you don’t have anyone that can attend with you, let me know and I will come and be there for you!

On shoots, I personally attend to fixing details such as a bra strap showing or hair in the face but during this time I will be asking the one person attending the shoot with each client to be in charge of that. I would suggest bringing your mom as your one person!

Clean, Clean and Clean again! I will be cleaning my camera equipment more than ever! Before and after each session, I will be cleaning all equipment to ensure that it is germ free. In addition to cleaning my equipment, I will have hand sanitizer as well as disinfecting wipes with me on all sessions. These items will be available for anyone to use to ensure we are all staying germ-free!

Style Closet Items – Due to the recommendations of the CDC, all items such as clothing from the style closet, props, jewelry, bobby pins, hats, etc. will be temporarily unavailable for clients to borrow. As soon as I am able, these things will be available again!

Wearing a Mask – I will be wearing a mask at sessions to keep from spreading germs and to keep all my clients safe. If the person attending the shoot with you has a mask and would feel more comfortable wearing it, have them do so.

Sick Policy – Even in normal circumstances, being sick on the day of your shoot is disappointing and would require a reschedule. But now, more than ever, we need to be extra cautious when it comes to feeling sick. If a client or family member has felt sick or shows any of these symptoms – sneezing, runny nose, headache, cough, sore throat, fever, or other – within 36 hours of your scheduled photo shoot, please inform me immediately and we will reschedule your shoot. It is better to be safe than sorry so if you are feeling anything, let me know. I will also let you know if I or any of my family members are feeling ill. This will help us keep everyone safe!

In-Person Ordering Sessions will now be virtual! Due to the virus, having people in my home is not an option at this time. However, I will still provide ordering sessions via zoom to allow you to see your photos and place your order. The same customer service will be provided and I will guide you through the process just as I would if you were in my home. Everything will be done via the computer and your order will be delivered to you by me. But I will drop it off on your front porch and not come into your home.

The LKP Senior Experience will still be the same and I will do everything in my power to make sure you have the best session possible! Customer service and care will still be top priority with these few changes to allow for safety of everyone during this time!

I am so happy to be able to get back to work and capture your senior photos! I love seeing my clients, getting to know them and telling their story with my camera! I can’t wait to see you on your session, although I will be missing my usual hug greeting in order to keep everyone safe, I will continue to give you the best possible experience for your senior photo session!!
